How This Division Began

While Heaven for Paws originally focused on dogs and cats, one day a horse appeared in a rescue video — steady, gentle, and filled with a presence that felt like an old friend.

That night, the video stayed on while falling asleep, and it felt as if the horse was standing guard — watching, guiding, protecting.

“Do not forget us. We are here too.”

And just like that, the Horsesource Division was born — not from planning, but from a direct soul encounter.

Our Mission

• Support rescues caring for abused or malnourished horses
• Provide emergency food, medical care, and shelter upgrades
• Help sanctuaries caring for 50–200+ horses at a time
• Create a global network of horse-safe havens
• Honor horses as sentient guardians with deep emotional worlds

• Care for newly rescued horses in critical condition
